It's playoff time, and Goddard had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Valencia Jaguars by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Rockets sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.

Viviana Varela was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 22 digs and five assists. Those five assists gave her a new career-high.

Goddard was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in ten consecutive matches.

Goddard's victory bumped their record up to 22-2. As for Valencia, they moved to 15-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Goddard wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Hope Christian on the 14th. As for Valencia, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Santa Teresa on the 14th.
