Softball Recap: Jacksonville Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Jacksonville's offense. They came up short against the St. Clair County Fighting Saints on Tuesday, falling 13-0. The Golden Eagles haven't had much luck with the Fighting Saints recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Jacksonville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaylen Huntley, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Jacksonville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for St. Clair County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-13-1.

Looking ahead, Jacksonville will host Wellborn at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Clair County, they will head out to challenge Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
