Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

A Season-Best Effort from Evan Powell Leads Cajon over Beaumont

On Friday, Cajon had to settle for second even though Evan Powell put up the best numbers he has all season. Powell threw for 431 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per attempt. He is becoming a predictor of Cajon's success: when he posts at least three passing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

If the past is any indication, Powell could be in store for another big game when he takes on Redlands East Valley on Friday. Powell threw for 224 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries the last time he and the Wildcats duked it out back in September of 2023.
