Fort Bend Christian Academy has given up an average of 51.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Fort Bend Christian Academy challenged Kinkaid on Tuesday. The Eagles lost to the Falcons at home by a 69-55 margin.

Meanwhile, Houston Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They breezed past St. Thomas Episcopal to the tune of 95-47. With the Mustangs ahead 51-17 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Fort Bend Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Houston Christian, they pushed their record up to 1-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
