Soccer Game Preview: Washington vs. Worthing

The Washington Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Worthing Colts at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Washington's favor is that they have posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season.

Two weeks ago, everything went Washington's way against Kashmere as Washington made off with a 6-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Fighting Rams: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Worthing managed to keep up with Mickey Leland College Preparatory Academy for Young Men until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Worthing came up short against Mickey Leland College Preparatory Academy for Young Men, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 454th, while the Knights are ranked 164th).

Washington's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Worthing, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
