It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Olympia had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They slipped by the Oak Ridge Pioneers 62-61. The win was familiar territory for the Titans, who have now won four games in a row.

Olympia got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bishop Wenze out in front who went 8-for-11 to rack up 18 points and seven boards. Wenze is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last six games he's played. James Nowells was another key player, going 5-for-12 on his way to 17 points.

Despite the defeat, Oak Ridge had strong showings from Jalen Reece, who went 6-for-10 en route to 19 points in addition to six assists and five rebounds, and Jamier Jones, who posted 13 points along with five assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Will Jackson, who had three points and six boards.

Olympia's win bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Oak Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9.

Olympia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 68-35 defeat against Windermere on the 7th. As for Oak Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 77-70 victory against Centennial on the 12th.
