Rincon/University not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 3, 2024. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sahuarita Mustangs.

Rincon/University not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Sahuarita between 18 and 21 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 25-21.

Antonio Sabelli paced Rincon/University's offense, picking up eight kills. Sabelli got some help from Tim Tran and his 20 assists. Nic Sanchez controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Rincon/University's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Sahuarita, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, Rincon/University will host Mica Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sahuarita, they will venture away from home to challenge Marana at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
