Manvel entered their tilt with Foster on Saturday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Falcons. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mavericks also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2020.

Jasmyn Walker paced Manvel's offense, picking up 12 kills. Walker got some help from London King and her 34 assists.

Manvel's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Foster, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-5.

Manvel wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Friendswood on the 23rd. As for Foster, they will square off against Fort Bend Clements at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
