Baseball Recap: Wheaton North Takes a Loss

Wheaton North made up a huge gap compared to their last game against St. Charles East, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Falcons fell just short of the Fighting Saints by a score of 4-2 on Monday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Falcons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Wheaton North's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-1. As for St. Charles East, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

While Wheaton North had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
