Recap: Florence Gophers vs. Crismon Rattlers
On Friday, The Florence Gophers got themselves on the board against the Crismon Rattlers, but the Crismon Rattlers never followed suit. They blew past the Rattlers, posting a 41-0 victory on the road. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Florence's seven-point performance the match before.
Leading Florence to victory were Malik Smith and Logan Stenson. Smith rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, while Stenson rushed for 48 yards and a touchdown. Aiden Lee did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 81 receiving yards.
Florence's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Crismon, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Florence will be playing in front of their home fans against American Leadership Academy - Ironwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. American Leadership Academy - Ironwood is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Crismon, they will head out on the road to face off against Coolidge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
