Basketball Game Preview: College Prep Cougars vs. Drew Dragons

The College Prep Cougars will head out on the road to square off against the Drew Dragons at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 56-26, which was the final score in College Prep's tilt against Berean Christian on Thursday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lulu S was College Prep's leading scorer, having posted eight points.

Meanwhile, Drew was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. The match between them and Gateway didn't end well, with Drew falling 45-27.

Drew's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

College Prep and Drew were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, but College Prep came up empty-handed after a 1-0 loss. Can College Prep avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
