Softball Recap: Carson Takes a Loss

Carson was the 6-4 winner over Palos Verdes when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Colts fell 5-2 to the Sea Kings on Saturday. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Letu'U Simi made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Ashannalee Titialii was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run.

Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 16-3-1. As for Palos Verdes, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Carson and Palos Verdes will both be playing Long Beach Poly the next time they take the field. The Sea Kings will head out to face the Jackrabbits at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Colts will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
