Basketball Game Preview: San Diego Jewish Academy Lions vs. High Tech SD Storm

The San Diego Jewish Academy Lions will venture away from home to challenge the High Tech SD Storm at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for San Diego Jewish Academy and five for High Tech SD.

It was a proper cat-fight when San Diego Jewish Academy duked it out withEscondido Charter on Wednesday. San Diego Jewish Academy was beaten by Escondido Charter 72-42. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 13-8 in the first quarter.

Despite the loss, San Diego Jewish Academy had strong showings from Jack Silberstein, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 boards, and Adam Tal, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Silberstein is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least nine every time he's taken the court this season.

Meanwhile, High Tech SD ended up a good deal behind San Bernardino on Thursday and lost 61-47.

San Diego Jewish Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for High Tech SD, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

San Diego Jewish Academy came up short against High Tech SD in their previous matchup back in December of 2015, falling 49-45. Can San Diego Jewish Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
