Lake Mead Christian Academy waltzed into their contest on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They blew past the White Pine Bobcats 16-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-4 on Friday.

Hunter Zierleyn made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Bowe Farmer was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Danny Yeates, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
