Football Recap: Nanuet Takes a Loss

After flying high against Briarcliff/Hamilton last Saturday, Nanuet came back down to earth. The Golden Knights were just a hair shy of victory on Saturday and fell 8-7 to the Pleasantville Panthers. The Golden Knights have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Nanuet's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Pleasantville, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Nanuet will square off against rival Putnam Valley at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Pleasantville is set to take on their familiar foe Pearl River at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Mason Rizzi and TJ Lanese.
