Volleyball Recap: Eldorado Takes a Loss

Eldorado lost to Las Vegas back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Sundevils came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Sundevils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-21, 25-19.

Antonio Blandon paced Eldorado's offense, picking up six kills. Blandon got some help from Alan Ceja and his 13 assists. Ceja was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Eldorado's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Las Vegas, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Eldorado will take on rival Sunrise Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Las Vegas is set to face off against their familiar foe Mater Academy East Las Vegas at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
