Volleyball Recap: Cedar Grove-Belgium Beats Bonduel for Their Third Straight Win

Cedar Grove-Belgium had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Bonduel Bears by a score of 2-0. The Rockets were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Bears, so the Rockets were just returning the favor.

Cedar Grove-Belgium never let Bonduel on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20.

Mia Grisolono paced Cedar Grove-Belgium's offense, picking up six kills. Grisolono were helped by London Rulli and Jolie Bialzik, who contributed eight assists each. Grisolono was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Despite the loss, Bonduel still got an impressive performance from Paige Niquette, who had ten digs and ten assists.

Cedar Grove-Belgium's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Bonduel, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-3.

Cedar Grove-Belgium didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Brillion on the 6th. As for Bonduel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Sevastopol on the 8th.
