Recap: Oakville Acorns vs. Non Varsity Opponent        
        
		
            
 If the Oakville Acorns were feeling good  off their  65-10 takedown of the Lake Quinault Elks last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Oakville took a hard  49-32 fall against Non Varsity Opponent on Monday. Oakville has not had much luck with Non Varsity Opponent recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
 Oakville's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Ui Siufanua, who  scored 11 points along with five  rebounds and three  steals, and  Viviana Cruz who  scored four points along with eight  steals and five  rebounds. Cruz is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's  played.  Andrea Mendez was another key contributor,  scoring eight points along with two  steals.
 Oakville's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 94-166 record this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oakville won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against Mary M. Knight at 7:00  p.m.  on January 23rd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Washington (Mary M. Knight is ranked 292nd, while Oakville is ranked 315th). As for Non Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to  take on  Northwest Christian at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday.
