Basketball Recap: Northeastern Clinton Finds Home Court Redemption Against Saranac Lake

There's no place like home for Northeastern Clinton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 49-37 victory over the Saranac Lake Red Storm on Tuesday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Cougars' disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 498th, while the Red Storm are ranked 210th).

The victory got Northeastern Clinton back to even at 4-4. As for Saranac Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Northeastern Clinton will host Chateaugay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Saranac Lake has already played their next matchup, a 68-42 win against AuSable Valley on the 9th.
