Volleyball Game Preview: Providence Catholic Celtics vs. Glenwood Titans

The Providence Catholic Celtics will be taking part in a tournament against the Glenwood Titans at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Providence Catholic is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Providence Catholic picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past Whitney Young 2-1.

Providence Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Olivia Healy, who had 13 assists and eight digs. That's the most assists Healy has posted over her last six matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Juju Batshon, who had four digs and three aces.

Meanwhile, Glenwood was able to grind out a solid victory over Lincoln on Thursday, taking the game 2-0.

Glenwood easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19.

Providence Catholic's record is now 24-3. As for Glenwood, their record now sits at 24-4.
