Baseball Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Aquinas

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Aquinas had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They never let the Bloomer Blackhawks get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Ten seems to be a good number for the Blugolds as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The win (which was Aquinas' sixth in a row) raised their record to 20-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Bloomer, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Aquinas nor Bloomer have any future games scheduled.
