Annelise Burgos made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Burgos was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, Shelby Anne Newcomb was a standout: she went 5-for-5 with a home run, six RBI, and two runs. Andrea Toledo was another key contributor, going 2-for-5 with a home run, six RBI, and four runs.
