Kennedy had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came out on top against the Lakeview Charter Lions by a score of 2-0. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Kennedy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Miranda Diaz, who had ten aces. Those ten aces gave Diaz a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aliah Richards, who had five digs and five aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Kennedy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 24 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 15 aces in four consecutive matchups.

Kennedy's victory bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Lakeview Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Kennedy is on the road again on Saturday to play Legacy at 9:00 a.m. As for Lakeview Charter, they will be taking part in a tournament against Arleta at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
