Soccer Game Preview: Barnwell vs. Bridges Prep

Barnwell is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bridges Prep Buccaneers at 5:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

After dropping their season opener at home, Bridges Prep is headed out to face a Barnwell team ready to give their home crowd a win. Barnwell lost 6-0 to Aiken on Wednesday. Barnwell have struggled against Aiken recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Bridges Prep came up short against Atlantic Collegiate Academy on Wednesday and fell 3-1.

The Buccaneers' goal came courtesy of Brooke Daugherty, who's now up to five this season.

Barnwell suffered a grim 11-0 defeat to Bridges Prep in their previous matchup back in March of 2025. Can the Warhorses avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
