Soccer Game Preview: Mountain View vs. Sheldon

The Mountain View Cougars will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Sheldon Irish at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Mountain View is looking to pick up the season's first win, something they couldn't quite do against Madras on Tuesday. Neither the Cougars nor the White Buffaloes could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Sheldon kept a clean sheet against South Medford on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers.

Mountain View's draw gives them a new season record of 0-1-1. As for Sheldon, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-1.
