Softball Recap: Cranberry Area Takes a Loss

Cranberry Area and Chartiers-Houston squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Cranberry Area had to settle for second. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buccaneers. The Berries have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cranberry Area saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kellie Schnieder, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Cranberry Area's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Chartiers-Houston, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Cranberry Area nor Chartiers-Houston have any future games scheduled.
