Rock Bridge won the last time they faced Smith-Cotton and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bruins were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bruins.

While Rock Bridge won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-18, 25-21.

Maeve Rush paced Rock Bridge's offense, picking up 12 kills. Rush got some help from Emery Allen and her 23 assists. Allen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Rock Bridge's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Smith-Cotton, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-7-1.

Rock Bridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Staley on the 20th. As for Smith-Cotton, they will head out to face off against Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
