It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fort Loramie had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Troy Christian Eagles. The Redskins haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

While Fort Loramie might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Troy Christian scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 23-25, 25-20, 25-18.

Jenna Hoying paced Fort Loramie's offense, picking up 16 kills. Hoying got some help from Tessa Boerger and her 47 assists. Charleigh Albers controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Fort Loramie's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Troy Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 14-11 record.

Coming up, Fort Loramie will face off against Mississinawa Valley at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Troy Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
