Westfield Area had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 3-8  on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They were the clear victors by  a  15-5 margin over the Green Lake/Princeton Tigersharks. The Pioneers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
As for Green Lake/Princeton, they now  have a losing record of 4-5. Their defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
For Green Lake/Princeton's part,  Drake Westfield was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Westfield was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances with one  run.
 Westfield wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Nathan Fishbaugher, who  went 1-for-2 with one  run.  Jamison Luepke also deserves some recognition as  he  brought in his first  RBI of the season.
 Looking ahead, Westfield Area will square off against Adams-Friendship at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Pioneers are facing the Green Devils at the right time seeing as the Green Devils are stuck on  a  nine-game losing streak. As for Green Lake/Princeton, they will challenge Cambria-Friesland at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2  runs per game  this season, so the Tigersharks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
