Basketball Recap: Jayden Parks Key Part of a Team Effort in Blue Eagles Win

Clover won the last time they faced Rock Hill and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Clover Blue Eagles walked away with a 60-48 victory over the Rock Hill Bearcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Eagles.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clover to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Parks, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 13 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Galeota, who posted 12 points and seven rebounds.

Several Bearcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kyriq Dickens, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 13 points. Deionne Robertson was another key player, putting up five points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Clover's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Rock Hill, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

Clover and Gaffney will compete for holiday cheer at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clover is facing Gaffney at the right time seeing as Gaffney is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Rock Hill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Myers Park at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
