Brookwood put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. Everything went their way against St. Clair County as Brookwood made off with a 10-1 win. While fans of Brookwood might be used to big wins, the nine-goal margin marked the team's biggest win yet this season.
Their offense was hitting St. Clair County from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal.
Meanwhile, Tuscaloosa County couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They were the victim of a rough 10-0 defeat at the hands of McAdory on Tuesday.
Brookwood's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Tuscaloosa County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Brookwood suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Tuscaloosa County in their previous meeting back in April of 2023. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Brookwood was down 7-0.
