Softball Recap: Cabrini Comes Up Short

Cabrini fell victim to Lakeshore and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against Lakeshore, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Crescents' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cabrini saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makayla Richoux, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Cabrini's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Lakeshore, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Looking ahead, Cabrini is taking a road trip to challenge Livingston Collegiate Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lakeshore, they will host St. Scholastica at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
