Basketball Recap: Polk County Comes Up Short at Home Against East Rutherford + How To Watch

Polk County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by the East Rutherford Cavaliers and fell 75-34. The Wolverines have struggled against the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

East Rutherford was led to victory by Blake Suttle and Micah King. Suttle posted 15 points and five rebounds, while King shot 57% from the field en route to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Pinkerton, who put up 11 points.

Coming up, Polk County will be playing in front of their home fans against Chase at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Rutherford, they are taking a road trip to take on McDowell at 7:30 p.m. on the 25th.
