Ohatchee extended their winning streak to five on Monday, bumping them up to 23-9. They never let the Weaver Bearcats get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-0 last Monday.

As for Weaver, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season. Having soared to a lofty 22 runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

For Weaver's part, Promise McLean spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Ohatchee will venture away from home to challenge Glencoe at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Weaver, they will take on Piedmont at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
