Football Game Preview: Law Lawmen vs. Branford Hornets + How To Watch

The Law Lawmen will square off against the Branford Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Law was handed a 28-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They slipped by Notre Dame 28-27. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but the Lawmen were the better team in the second half.

Law's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Matthew Witteman led the charge by throwing for 247 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for 30 yards. That's the most passing touchdowns Witteman has posted since back in September of 2024. Hunter Kendzierski was Witteman's top target, picking up 122 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, Branford strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past Wilbur Cross, posting a 44-0 victory. While the Hornets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-7), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Branford's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Law, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
