Flint Southwestern Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Beecher Buccaneers 80-52. One positive for the Knights, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Flint Southwestern Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Beecher, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Atherton the next time they take the court. Beecher will head out to face Atherton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Flint Southwestern Academy will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
