Beloit came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Minneapolis Lions. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Beloit not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Minneapolis between 17 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18.

Beloit's offense was headlined by Vivian Thompson and Landry Litton, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Colbi Stroede and her 21 assists.

Beloit's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Minneapolis, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Beloit beat the Lions by a score of 2-0 later that day.
