Baseball Game Preview: Tullahoma Wildcats vs. White House Blue Devils

The Tullahoma Wildcats will challenge the White House Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Tullahoma sitting on four straight wins and White House on five.

White House's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: Tullahoma hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Wildcats never let Soddy Daisy get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Thursday.

Tullahoma got a great performance from Grayson Waller as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Andrew Fulmer, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only White House walked away with it. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over the Tigers on Friday. That's two games straight that the Blue Devils have won by just one run.

White House pushed their record up to 19-14-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Tullahoma, their win bumped their record up to 30-10.
