If Hammond Morton was feeling good fresh off their 13-2 takedown of East Chicago Central on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Governors took a 13-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hammond Academy of Science & Tech Hawks on Thursday. The Governors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.
