Soccer Recap: Solanco Takes a Loss

The matchup between Solanco and Susquehannock on Saturday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Golden Mules came up short against the Warriors, falling 8-1. While losing is never fun, Solanco can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 296th, while Susquehannock are ranked 49th).

Solanco's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Susquehannock, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.

Looking ahead, Solanco will be playing in front of their home fans against Manheim Central at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Susquehannock, they will challenge West York Area at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. West York Area will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Susquehannock surely won't give up without a fight.
