Andrean had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Highland Trojans 9-0 on Saturday. The Fighting 59ers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 21 contests by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Andrean's third in a row) raised their record to 28-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Highland, they moved to 17-14 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Andrean will challenge Delta on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Fighting 59ers 2.7, the Eagles 3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Highland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
