Basketball Recap: Riverview Sarasota Has No Trouble Against Dunbar

Riverview Sarasota won the last time they faced Dunbar and things went their way on Saturday too. The Riverview Sarasota Rams took down the Dunbar Tigers 67-48.

It was another big night for Josh Harris, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Coggin, who posted six points along with six assists and four steals.

Riverview Sarasota has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for Dunbar, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverview Sarasota will welcome Manatee at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Manatee's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine matches. As for Dunbar, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cape Coral at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
