Softball Recap: Hilliard Bradley Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Hilliard Bradley and Grove City squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Hilliard Bradley had to settle for second. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greyhounds. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Greyhounds apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Hilliard Bradley's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Grove City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-10.

Hilliard Bradley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grove City, they will square off against Hayes on Wednesday. The Pacers' pitching crew has only allowed 1.6 runs per game this season, so the Greyhounds' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
