Soccer Recap: Antioch Victorious

While Antioch's win against Woodstock wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Sequoits beat the Blue Streaks by a goal, winning 2-1. Antioch have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Woodstock on Saturday, too.

The victory made it two in a row for Antioch and bumps their season record up to 6-11-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two contests. As for Woodstock, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Antioch will face off against McHenry at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodstock, they will challenge Hampshire at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
