Santa Clara has gone 9-1 against Bishop Diego recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Saints will face off against the Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. Santa Clara's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so Bishop Diego's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Last Tuesday, Santa Clara came up short against St. Bonaventure and fell 8-4. The Saints have struggled against the Seraphs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Tahli Martinez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Bishop Diego was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Faith Baptist.

Chelsea Hayes made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Pilar Alvarez was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Bishop Diego now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Santa Clara, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Santa Clara beat Bishop Diego 5-1 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saints since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
