Baseball Recap: Schuylkill Valley Takes a Loss

Schuylkill Valley lost against Oley Valley back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers fell 4-1 to the Lynx. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly three runs.

Bodie James spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits.

Schuylkill Valley's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Oley Valley, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-5 record.

Looking ahead, Schuylkill Valley will host Tulpehocken at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oley Valley, they will square off against Schuylkill Haven at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
