Basketball Recap: Strong's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Strong can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Emerson Pirates by a score of 58-51. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 52-45 win the Pirates walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Strong's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Emerson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Strong will venture away from home to take on Bradley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Emerson, they will square off against Bearden at 7:15 p.m. on January 21st.
