Soccer Recap: York Institute Takes a Loss

The York Institute Dragons came up short against the Scott Highlanders on Tuesday and fell 5-3.

Jameson Wright and Connor Cook scored all three of York Institute's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

York Institute has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season. As for Scott, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, York Institute will head out on the road to square off against Harriman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Scott, they will be playing at home against Claiborne at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Scott will be up against Claiborne's rather soft defense (which has allowed 9.4 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
