Mountain Ridge waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Pinnacle Pioneers as they made off with an 8-2 win. The Mountain Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pioneers, too.

Mountain Ridge got a great performance from Jaggar Wethington as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Wethington has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Coby Neville was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Joe Forbes was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.
