Softball Recap: Bishop Snyder Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

Bishop Snyder took a 14-run defeat the last time they faced off against Hilliard, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Bishop Snyder skirted past Hilliard 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cardinals have posted against the Red Flashes since February 22, 2021.

Chloe Gotto made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Gotto was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ava Williamson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
